The staff at this hotel were amazing, really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The free bus tour to see the local temples was a great touch, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with lovely hot spring bathtubs. The location was also fantastic, right in the heart of town and just a short walk from the train station.
Although we loved using the hot spring bath on the rooftop, it was a bit windy up there and the water was a bit cold. Also, the cleaning in the rooms could have been a bit better, as we found some dust and dirt in a few places. though, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Nagano.

Best aspects, We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and gave us excellent service throughout our trip. They even surprised us with a birthday gift! The hotel facilities were super clean, and we loved the two hot spring bathtubs and the beauty machine in our room. On top of that, the public open Onsen on the 6th floor provided amazing views of the surrounding area. The hotel also offers a free bus tour to 4 temples in this city, a great way to explore the nearby attractions. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast that was served, it was a fantastic start to each day!
Worst aspects, Nothing for us. Everything was perfect!

We recently stayed at a traditional Japanese inn and enjoyed a wonderful experience. the location was convenient with a free bus tour offered to 4 nearby temples. the staff were very friendly and provided excellent one, on, one service, taking care of the details and even giving us a birthday gift. the room was well, furnished, with a Simmons bed and two private hot spring bathtubs. Breakfast and dinner were high quality, served in a specific room for our enjoyment. We also loved the unique Panoramaview's open air bath on the sixth floor.
We found there was some undercleaning in our room which left a small part covered in dust.

The hotel had an amazing view from its rooftop hot springs. The staff was very helpful and provided personalized service. the hotel had a free shuttle bus service to nearby temples, which was very convenient. The dinner and breakfast quality was excellent and served in a private room.
The rooftop hot springs were not very relaxing due to the strong wind. It was also necessary to wear clothing while soaking in the hot springs.

Of all the hotels I've been to, this one had grand amenities and excellent service. We were greeted with warm hospitality and were assigned to a gorgeous room with superb views. We also appreciated the privacy and exclusivity of the hot springs and private facilities. the bar and lounge area provided an elegant atmosphere and we enjoyed superb cocktails and snacks.
The only thing that slightly bothered us was the limited Garden area that could do with more greenery, though it was still lovely. overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and made our luxury stay exceptional.
